- DON & EMILY LESKE ON HOLIDAY! -

Welcome friends & family!

As many of you may know, we will have been married for 41 years as of Jan. 11, 2010.

Over the years we have traveled all over the United States. In the 70's we spent 30 days in a camper on the road all over the USA from New York City, to the Florida Keys for scuba diving, to the mid west Osceola Wisconsin and Minnesota to visit relatives then across the mid-west, to Texas and all over the west coast of California. - Side trips and weekend trips took us many times to most all the other States including Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona, New-Mexico, the Dakotas, Georgia...and more. Never been to Maine. Then in the late 80's we started to go to Mexico a lot, bought a Condo in Mazatlan at the Pueblo Bonita and did some scuba diving all over the West Coast... Isla Mujeres, Santa Catalina & the Channel Islands to Bodega Bay.

Hawaii trips were lots of fun in the '90s and highlights included the 110' dive off the North coast of Oahu with my sons Don Leske and Ben Leske, on the sunken ship Maui along with a few other spots, like Lahina Maui. I tried to encourage Emily to learn diving but she had a bad experience in a pool with an Instructor who got in a hurry ...and that was that unfortunately.

Cruises have been our favorite get away vacations of all time, with 11 cruises now under our belts from several trips to the Caribbean to Panama Canal 10 day w/Cost Rica and Mexico Baha. Tahiti two years ago was fantastic and three cruises to Europe, two in the Med and one in the Baltic Sea have been the dreams of a lifetime. As a father, my only regrets in life are for hurtful things that I would certainly NOT do if I had it all to do over again. Sometimes we do not realize the harm or feel the hurt we cause those we love the most, until we look back later and internalize it all. We pay for some of these hurts for the rest of our lives, as do those we have hurt. For those family members and friends who may read this ... let me apologize deeply for the hurt and pain I have caused you in your life. You know who you are and you did not deserve to be treated that way. For those who have families please think three times before you ever hurt someone else and seek help if you need it. Drinking, smoking, drugs, greed, selfishness and other anti-social behaviors are all controllable. Every day now I try my best to be the best I can be toward others. May love and peace in your lifetime be yours to share. - Donald J. Leske II

Ref: prior to 2003, we are seeking the info/files and photos now. These were independent cruises with various vendors, then we found www.Vacationstogo.com and found we could save up to 70%. All the following was with them.

Ref: 2003 6th Cruise. Cabo/Costa Rica/Jamaica - 7 days - Just the two of us. photos pending.
*Cost: $600/pp is all we paid. Looking for the photos.

Ref: 2004 7th Cruise. Med/Cruise 12-days - photos pending. Others paid up to $3,400 per person.
*We paid $750 per person
, with www.Vacationsgogo.com

Ref: 2006 8th Cruise. Baltic Sea 12 days ... just us two ... www.Realhomes.us/trips/2006-Cruise_Baltic / my advice is to just do it if you can. We got great deals with www.Vacationstogo.com but a deal is where you can find one, just be sure its a reputable company. Compared to a Mediterranean Cruise..? Do the Med first, its a must of course. But, do not under estimate the beauty and strength of the Baltic and Russian people, Germany and all of Scandinavia.

Ref: 2007 9th Cruise. Tahiti highlights ...10 days just us two ... www.Realhomes.us/trips/Tahiti-2007
*Absolutely what we expected, in terms of beauty and nice people. We were not aware of the high cost of living there. With rule by the French Government the people are taken care of quite well it appeared. Schools appeared to be well equipped and thought about and the Government is buying back land from foreign owners to give back to the indigenous people. This is a NOT to be missed cruise for anyone who is into love, Mutiny on the Bounty stuff, history of the islands or just want to go to places that only a few get to see. Best after a Caribbean, Mexican or Mediterranean cruise so that you have something to compare it with.

Ref: 2008 10th Cruise. Med/Cruise 12 days w/part of our family - www.Realhomes.us/trips/MedCruise2008
*We very much missed Don, Naomi and their girls on this trip. We thought about them often and the whole trip would have been a lot more fund with them there. When family members move away it seems so hard to get together for things.

Ref: Feburary 2009, 11th Cruise. Mexican Riviera / 7 days. www.Realhomes.us/trips/Cruise-Mexican-Riviera/album - Highlight was a cooking side trip where we learned how to cook/fry tamales and peppers.

Ref: December 2009, 12th Cruise. 2009 South America / 12 days, PRINCESS CRUISE LINES..... plus one day early on arrival in Ft. Lauderdale and one day after cruise in Acapulco/MX. photos pending.  www.realhomes.us/trips/12-2009-Cruise-Central-America
*Note: Emily got injured on this trip ,,,, in the Spa.

... future plans include Australia/New Zealand to see the Mauri do their Haka and Asia.
